Version of October 10, 2026
These terms describe how 1xchange works and what you can expect from us. By creating an order you agree to them.
Contents
1. General
1xchange is an online service for exchanging cryptocurrency for money: to a bank account or card, to another cryptocurrency, or in cash. No registration or personal account is needed.
By using the site and creating an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity, act on your own behalf and in your own interest, and accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the AML Policy.
1xchange is not a bank and does not give investment, legal or tax advice. Information on the site is for reference only.
2. How the exchange works
- You choose a direction and an amount and see the calculation.
- You create an order: you enter the payout details and your e-mail. The amount you receive is locked for the time shown on the order page.
- You send the cryptocurrency to the address from the order: the exact amount, in the specified network.
- An operator checks the payment and sends the payout to your details manually. The service does not hold your keys and takes nothing without your transfer.
A cash exchange is arranged with a request in the “Cash desks” section: an operator confirms availability, terms, time and place of the meeting. Such a request does not guarantee that cash is available. To confirm the meeting an operator may ask for a deposit in the same cryptocurrency: it is part of the exchange amount. The exact address and the entrance password are shown once the deposit is received.
3. Rate and cost
Before you create an order, the site shows an indicative calculation. The final amount is locked when the order is created and does not change while the order is waiting for payment.
The service margin and the fixed payout fee, if there is one, are already included in the calculation. You pay the network fee for your own transfer separately: it is charged by the blockchain, not by us.
The payout amount is rounded down to the smallest payout unit (for example, to a whole ruble).
If there is no fresh, reliable rate, the site does not show a calculation and an order cannot be created. After an order expires the rate is not guaranteed: a new order is created at the current rate.
Each direction has a minimum and a maximum amount. If your amount is outside them, the system tells you when you create the order.
4. Creating an order and paying
You are responsible for the correctness of the payout details, the e-mail, and the coin and network you choose. The payout is made to the details in the order.
Send exactly the amount shown on the order page, in the specified network and to the specified address (and with the tag or memo, if one is shown). The amount may include a small addition: we use it to tell your payment apart from others. It is already taken into account in your payout.
An order is valid for a limited time; the timer is shown on its page. If you miss it, the order expires: do not send anything to its details any more, and create a new order.
There is no account, so the link to the order page is sent to your e-mail. Keep it: it shows the order status and the payment details.
We never ask for a seed phrase, private keys or wallet passwords.
5. Payout
The payout is checked and sent by an operator manually, after your transfer has received the required confirmations on the network. On average this takes about 3 minutes. This is an average, not a promise: the speed depends on the blockchain, the bank and the payment system, and on checks.
We pay to the details in the order. If the details contain an error, the money may go to the wrong place or not arrive, and a bank or blockchain transfer that has already been made cannot be reversed.
We write to your e-mail about the important steps (payment received, payout made, additional check, cancellation), and the status is shown on the order page.
6. If something goes wrong
An inexact amount, a different coin, the wrong network, a payment without the required tag or after the order has expired: the system cannot match such a payment to an order unambiguously, and an operator checks it manually. There are no automatic refunds. After the check the operator decides depending on the circumstances: pay out under the terms of the order, recalculate at the current rate, return the payment or ask for clarification.
The status does not change for a long time: first the transfer has to receive confirmations on the blockchain. Do not send the money again and do not create a duplicate: if the payment has arrived, an operator will find it.
If you have a dispute about an order, keep the link to it and the transaction hash: with them we can sort it out quickly.
7. Checks, suspension and refusal
An operator may carry out an additional check of an order or a payment. Then an explanation appears on the order page and in the e-mail, and if something needs to be clarified, we will contact you by e-mail.
We may suspend, reject or cancel an order and refuse a payout if:
- a payment or an order raises reasonable suspicion;
- these terms are violated, or the data is incorrect or contradictory;
- the law or a request from an authorized body requires it;
- the service is not available for your country.
Creating orders may be closed for certain countries. We determine the visitor’s country from the IP address. More about checks is in the AML Policy.
8. Bonus codes
A bonus code from a link increases the payout of an order by the stated percentage. One code applies to one order, codes cannot be combined and do not apply to cash exchange. A code may be limited in time and in the number of uses; if it has stopped being valid, the order is created without the bonus. The bonus is already included in the amount locked in the order. We may disable a code and cancel orders created in breach of the rules for using it.
9. Rules of use
You confirm that:
- the funds belong to you or you are entitled to dispose of them;
- they were obtained lawfully;
- you do not use the service for money laundering, fraud, financing unlawful activity or evading sanctions;
- you are not in a country from which access to the service is restricted.
It is forbidden to create orders automatically, to bypass restrictions and form protection, to interfere with the operation of the service, to impersonate another person and to provide false data.
10. Availability
We aim to work around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance is possible (new orders are temporarily not accepted, existing ones keep working), orders may be stopped when rates are unavailable, and networks, banks and payment systems may fail.
11. Risks
- Cryptocurrency prices can change sharply. We lock the amount you receive for the duration of an order, but we do not protect you from fluctuations before it is created or after it is completed.
- Blockchain transfers are irreversible: a transfer to a wrong address or in a wrong network usually cannot be returned.
- Check the address, the network and the amount before sending: malicious software can replace a copied address.
- Fraudsters may pose as the service. We do not ask for a seed phrase, private keys or passwords, and we do not ask you to send funds to addresses that are not on your order page.
- Information on the site is not investment advice.
12. Liability
We are responsible for carrying out an order on the terms locked on its page. We are not responsible for errors in the details and in the choice of network made by you; for delays and failures of the blockchain, banks, payment systems and other third parties; for the consequences of actions you took contrary to these terms; for losses from a change of rate outside the term of an order; or for indirect losses and lost profit.
These limits apply to the extent permitted by law and do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded.
13. Personal data and AML
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy. Which measures we take against unlawful use of the service is described in the AML Policy. Both policies are part of these terms.
14. Changes to the terms and disputes
We may change the terms. A new version takes effect when it is published on this page and does not change the terms of orders that have already been created. The date of the version is shown at the top of the page.
We try to resolve disputes by negotiation; if that does not work, in the manner provided by the applicable law.
